Chris Cobson finds his
Zen through motocross
“No matter what I have going on in life at the
moment, once I put on my helmet and crack
the throttle, it all goes away,” said Assistant
10 Site Manager Chris Cobson, whose passion for
motocross has led him to be on two wheels for as
long as he can remember.
In motocross, participants race by riding
motorcycles over rough terrain such as dirt or mud.
The courses are one to three miles long and have
different obstacles for the riders. Chris primarily
races motocross in Texas, but he has also raced in
Indiana, Illinois and Florida. He has placed in major
events including the Amateur National Motocross
Championship held at Loretta Lynn’s ranch in
Tennessee. Since Chris is currently working on the
