My hobbies

My passion is mechanical watches with balance winders
(perpetuals). I visited the Patek Philippe museum in Geneva,
which I highly recommend. Patek Philippe is the watch of
kings. On 3 floors, you'll discover the finest creations made
for kings, tsars, emperors, the patriarch of Russia... The
hand-hammered engravings are true masterpieces. The
mechanics are incredibly precise. Patek Philippe's most
important slogan is: you don't buy a Patek for yourself, but
              for future generations.

I also visited a few factories on my Harley-Davidson trips.
I organized my trips according to my desires, but I took
detours to visit certain factories. I visited Parmigiani in
Fleurier, Switzerland, François-Paul Journe in Geneva,

Frank Muller in Geneva and Lange & Söhne in Germany
near Berlin. During these visits, I was always welcomed in a
warm, professional manner, and always for several hours.
I like to understand the entire watchmaking cycle, from the
design phase to the commercial packaging.

In watches, the mechanical movement is designed to tell the
time with varying degrees of precision. “Complications"
sometimes allow the factory and its craftsmen to surpass
              themselves in terms of ingenuity.
In all, some thirty complications are divided into the
              following families:
              ✓ Practical features
Date display, chronograph, power reserve, chimes, alarm
                 clock,
