manifest itself at much higher energy scales (from 10.15
TeV), beyond the reach of current experiments.
After 3 years of maintenance, CERN in Geneva has just
relaunched a 4-year research program in June 2022 with the
LHC which, in its new configuration, should reach energies
              of 13.6 TeV.
So we're back in the realm of the possible.

The ultimate step, the addition of gravity to this formalism,
is even further away, and comes up against mathematical
problems that remain unsolved for the moment.

For specialists, string theory and loop quantum
gravitation theory are the two most studied theoretical
              frameworks today.

Albert EINSTEIN spent a great deal of his life working on
the unification of these 4 forces, without succeeding.
              • The strong and weak electromagnetic interactions are
described by the Standard Model of particle physics,
which is consistent with quantum physics.
              • Gravitational interaction is currently described by the
                  theory of general relativity.

In short, the infinitely large is explained by general
relativity, and the infinitely small is explained by quantum
              physics.

Bringing these 2 theories together in a single theory would
be the ultimate step towards understanding all the
              interactions of the entire universe.
