Women Empowerment
· Women Empowerment is Empowering the women to take their
own decisions for their personal development as well as Social
development.
· Empowerment of women would mean encouraging women to be
self-reliant and Independent.
· Basic rights like education, nutrition and health are like luxuries
for many women even today.
· There are a lot of girls in the rural areas who drop out from the
school and end up doing household works.
· Female Foeticide, Domestic violence, Early marriages, Gender
based discrimination at the work place are some of the challenges
women face even today.
