U11 Red Team
Congratulations to a group of young men who are a pleasure to coach and their parents who helped make our coaching and managing experience an enjoyable one.
This year the boys have made great strides in their individual cricket skills and importantly developed a good team culture.
Results wise we had a slow start to the season losing our first 3 games, but thereafter only suffered one further defeat, leaving the team one win outside the finals.
In addition to the improvement in individual skills, a number of other areas were a focus throughout the year such as backing up, running between the wickets, catching and ground fielding. But the most pleasing aspect of this season was the support shown to team mates, general encouragement, respect shown for the opposition and enjoying our cricket.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again next season.
