This threesome was additionally surrounded by close extended
family which became a background source of love-filled gatherings of
attentive grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins whether in happy or
troubled times. He absorbed a lot about life while being attentive to
family events ranging from hunting trips, motorcycle rallies, family
reunions; also encompassing the passing of those family members
who would proceed Harley in death. Endearing family history
provided a rich human experience to Harley's life.

Harley's parents shared a nurturing, religious background for
Harley as, together, they attended Abiding Love Lutheran Church in
Austin, Texas.
