The event was held at Frank Erwin Center in Austin and streamed live
on AISD.tv. Harley, Beth, Kathy Strause (Beth's sister), and her
husband watched with Harley from his hospital room. Kevin
represented Harley with great presence and dignity.

Kevin walked across the stage to receive Harley's diploma as
Harley's photograph was simultaneously displayed to the audience.
The speaker at Bowie High School graduation ceremony made this
announcement:

“Harley Fetterman's father, Kevin, is here to represent Harley at
graduation and accept his diploma. Harley Fetterman is a fierce
debater earning his National Forensic Honor Society cord. Harley also
took on the challenges of the most rigorous classes and has earned the
right to be cast as a Distinguished Achievement Scholar.
Congratulations to Harley Fetterman.”

Kevin accepted Harley's diploma with extreme gratification for his
son's accomplishment. Then hurriedly, Kevin rushed back to Houston
to Harley's side in Texas Children's Hospital PICU.
