Early Saturday morning was time for the next traditional “Must
Do” which must be completed before the competition. The family
found the nearest available “McDonald's” fast food restaurant. (There
are no Whataburgers in California!)
“I'll have a sausage and egg McMuffin with no egg, and a hash
brown,” Harley announced. “This is my breakfast of champions.”
After enjoying the satisfying meal, Harley and his family attended
the Opening Welcome Ceremony which included a performance of
the USC Trojan Marching Band playing rousing music while the
contestants marched in the ballroom. The emcee announced each
contestants name as they stood up to be acknowledged by all.

“I've done this so many times, I'm not really nervous anymore,”
Harley revealed.
