            It sounds counter-intuitive, right?


            You might be thinking that the “answers person” is the smart one in the room and the
            “questioner” is the novice.


            However, in business, leaders ask more questions than have answers. The key is that the
            questions should be good questions and mostly open ended.

            Open ended questions ask “how, what, when, where and why”.






            Go with the 80/20 rule.

            Ask open ended questions 80% of the time and yes or no questions only 20% of the
            time.
