When did you learn to fish?

My husband started taking me out with him when we married
12 years ago. After much persuasion I started fishing couples
tournaments nine years ago.

Which anglers do you admire?

Ott Defoe and Jacob Wheeler are two of my favorites

What is your favorite fishery?

Eufala
What is your favorite technique?

Soft plastics or top water bottles

What is your least favorite technique?
Whatever the fish aren’t eating

What would you recommend to someone thinking about
fishing the tour or getting into fishing?

As a relatively new member I will say try it! You don’t have to be “good enough” or have special skills.
This was a huge step for me, my first time fishing with someone other than my husband who has always
assisted me while in the boat. These ladies have all been supportive and helpful, answering questions and
offering much-needed advice. LBAA is a community of hard working, fun-loving ladies with a passion for
bass fishing.

What is your goal or what are your goals for 2022?

I plan to fish all the LBAA events this year and if I have a limit of fish at each one I will consider my year a
monumental success!
