Recommended baits for Logan Martin in the Fall


     BD60 popper – (4 Colors- Ausagi, Yellow Bone, Ghost Sexy, Brown Black)
     Length- 2.25 IN
     Weight- ½ oz

     Sound- internal double shot rattle
     Presentations- spinning rod with 30 lb braid and
     a medium action rod.


     BD80 popper (4 Colors- Ausagi, Yellow Bone,
     Ghost Sexy, Brown Black)
     Length- 3.25 IN
     Weight- ¾ oz
     Sound - internal double shot rattle

     Presentations- Bait caster with a 30-50 lb braid on a medium action rod.


     The BD 60 is the shorter of the two poppers. Both contain the internal double shot rattles
     that provide amazing sound. This combined with the high levels of splashing and chugging
     action drive fish crazy. Each bait is set up with kitana super sharp hooks, and tournament
     grade split rings. All Duckett baits are perfectly tuned right out of the box.


     Why would an angler use the BD60 over the BD 80 or vice versa?


     If the water is slick, Boyd recommends using the BD60. As a smaller bait, it will closely
     mimic the bait fish. If the wind gets up, with cloud cover, and or the current is really moving,

     the BD 80 is the ticket. Because of its size, it is more manageable and is easier to present
     in the proper manner. His favorite color in both sizes during the fall is the Yellow Bone.


     These baits are so loud because of the internal double shot rattle that they can overcome
     the crashing wave sounds and call fish in from greater distances.

     The BD 110 Super Sound is a ¾ ounce top water
     for use with the “walk the dog” style of presenta-
     tion. It is arguably the loudest top water walking bait on the market! The Super Sound is set
     up with the same tournament grade split rings, and three of the super sharp kitana hooks.
     The two favorite colors for the fall of the year include the Holo Shad and Bone. The fish
     will help you determine the appropriate cadence, but if the fish are schooling, moving the
