When did you learn
to fish?
Growing up my father was
a guide in the Branson
area. I grew up fly fishing,
catfishing, and snagging
for spoonbill. It wasn’t until
my sophomore year of high
ANGLER’S POINT
school that I got introduced
to tournament fishing for
bass. Since then I’ve been
hooked. What is the biggest bass
you’ve ever caught?
What is your favorite fishery? 10.36 lbs
Bull Shoals Lake
Which anglers do you admire?
What is your favorite technique? Ott Defoe, John Crews, and John Cox
Drop Shot Offshore
What is your least favorite technique?
As long as it catches a bass and don’t have a least favorite technique! But one
technique I would like to improve on is bar fishing on the TVA lakes.
What would you recommend to someone thinking
about fishing the tour or getting into fishing?
I would say go for it! I’ve been lucky enough to start at a young age. It doesn’t matter
your skill level, age, or experience. If you love the outdoors and spending time out on new
bodies of water it’s the perfect sport for you. Follow your dreams because you never know
where they will take you!
What is your goal or what are your goals for 2022?
When 2022 started my number one goal was to get out of my comfort zone. College
fishing is fun but I wanted to test my skills. By fishing the LBAAs I’ve been able to ac-
complish that goal. Yes, I might be the youngest one out there but I got to test my skills
against some of the best women anglers in the country. My goal is still to keep pushing
limits and breaking past them. I can only continue to grow in the fishing industry and
represent women anglers!
