from where he stopped. Make certain to go to
the dog at this point and start him again.
GET OUT…if your dog is coming in to
close…this is the command you use.
GET UP…sometimes when you have your dog
lie down, he isn’t sure what you want, so tell him
to GET UP and WALK ON.
WALK ON…when you and your dog are driving
the cattle together, you tell him to WALK ON.
THERE…when you send your dog left or right, to
turn the cattle when he is in the right spot and
the cattle have turned. Use THERE and then tell
him to WALK ON.
COME HERE…or HERE is the command I use
to call the dog to me. There are several times
this command can be used and keep things from
getting complicated or out of hand.
THAT’LL DO…use this command when your
dog has finished the job. Then give him a good
word, and maybe a pat on the head.
