GO LOOK, This is how it all starts.  First

               have your dog in front of you, be collected


               and calm and start with intention. If the


               animals are over the hill or out of sight just


               say, GO LOOK.


               If you can see the animals, start the dog on


               the side that best fits the fetch. With your


               dog on your left side if sending him off in

               the left direction say Go Bye or instead if


               starting on your right side, say Way to Me.



               The dog should take off in the direction


               intended, secure the cattle or sheep and

               begin the process of returning them to you.



               If the dog is too close to the cows or sheep


               when approaching them say Out.


               There is no whistle command for the start of


               the fetch, only voice commands.
