Once you are set up to the ball, bump your hip out toward the target
while still maintaining even body weight in the balls of your feet. Then
relax your trail shoulder and elbow (feel like you are dropping it down).
This will give you a chance to swing up at the ball instead of a smoth-

When you are pressed for time to get to the tee, it is very easy to come out of the swing or feel too eager during the swing, which causes thin and
heavy shots. Here is a classic drill that you can do to take care of all of those things and commit to the shot.
Work on compressing the ball with this classic and simple drill. Put a tee no more than two inches away from the ball. The goal is to strike the ball
and take the tee with it every time. This not only helps you make solid contact, but it also helps to hit the ball down the intended line. This drill can
also be used during your chipping practice to help with better contact.
