Practice your putting before you head to the practice tee. Not only will this allow you to gather your thoughts, but also you will find it is easier to
adapt to the green speeds with “fresh hands.” Even when you are pressed for time, give yourself a chance to play well by rolling some putts.
Calibrate both hands to putt
Let’s get both of your hands on the same page to sink those pesky par putts. From about 12 feet, take three balls and putt with just your dominant
hand. Do two sets of three balls and try to knock all of them into the hole. Then switch hands and do the same thing. You will start to see and feel
which hand pushes or pulls the ball. Once you’ve done the exercise for both hands, putt normally and watch your putts drop.
