JERRY CLARKSON is a freelance photographer living in Southern Oregon.
He spent most of his early career doing weddings and portraits and now

VALERIE COULMAN is a writer and artist based in the beautiful Rogue Valley
in Southern Oregon. She writes for a variety of adult and children’s publica-
tions, including three award-winning picture books that have been translated
into seven different languages for young readers around the globe. Along with
her artwork, Valerie also teaches writing and art skills through schools and con-
ferences both in Canada and the U.S., and is an avid amateur photographer.

LYNN LEISSLER is a freelance writer living in Southern Oregon, where she enjoys
the cultural and scenic variety of the area. She writes for various publications,
and enjoys quilting, reading, gardening and traveling. She is currently working

CHRIS DENNETT moved to the Rogue Valley at the age of nine in 1983, when
