                     JERRY CLARKSON is a freelance photographer living in Southern Oregon.
                     He spent most of his early career doing weddings and portraits and now
                     focuses on sports and commercial photography. His sports images capture
                     the raw emotion during the heat of an intense, competitive game and he
                     enjoys the challenge, teamwork and creativity associated with commercial

                     VALERIE COULMAN is a writer and artist based in the beautiful Rogue Valley
                     in Southern Oregon. She writes for a variety of adult and children’s publica-
                     tions, including three award-winning picture books that have been translated
                     into seven different languages for young readers around the globe. Along with
                     her artwork, Valerie also teaches writing and art skills through schools and con-
                     ferences both in Canada and the U.S., and is an avid amateur photographer.
