About the author

Chris Woolley was for many years the
International Co-ordinator for the Ministry
of Vinesong and an ordained minister
accredited with CiC International.

His ministry is one of encouraging church
leaders in their mission of shepherding Christ’s flock, with
special emphasis on the centrality of worship, unity and the
relationship between ministry and church.

“A key to renewal and ultimately revival in the Holy Spirit is
Unity in the Body of Christ. Ephesians 4 calls us to maintain
the unity of the spirit and attain to the unity of the faith. It is
this which Jesus placed so much emphasis in His prayer in
John 17.”

church was not united in doctrine and action. Rather it had
many divisions within it, with each part claiming it had the

mencement of the 21 century there is apathy in the modern
world toward the true and living God; and in parts of the
church that apathy is mirrored.

It is a time to remove preconceptions, formulas and pro-
grammes; to become healthily vulnerable and for the people
of God to understand there is a level of holiness that is both
attainable and necessary. This is a precursor to seeing the
kind of revival that was experienced in the time of Wesley,
Whitfield and others, and which has been prophesied for the
end time church.”
