It is arranged in six parts using doctrine headings and sub-
headings as points of reference. It is advisable that in
addition to study, time is taken to meditate on the different
elements contained within the whole teaching.
It will take a number of sessions to complete. It is to be
hoped that following completion there would be the
opportunity for a Baptism service for believers who have not
been previously baptised. Following this is the most
appropriate time for the local church to extend the 'right
hand of fellowship', which is how new members are best
received into and are committed to the local church, and the
local church to the believer.
Every person who works through this study, will gain a basic
understanding of christianity in a systematic form and should
then be able to instruct others.
It is not for intellectual knowledge only but for action.
1Peter 1 v13 'Prepare your minds for action, be self
controlled, set your hope fully on the grace to be given
you when Jesus Christ is revealed'.
The action our minds are being prepared for is that which
Jesus instructed in Matthew 28 v19.
'Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising
them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy
Spirit.'
Disciples are professing believers in action, who are capable
of making more disciples.
