for our future incarnation.
Take the mother who in her distress seeks to terminate the
development of the child forming within her, thus avoiding the
responsibilities of pregnancy. Or, the parent who surrenders her baby
after birth to another mother and does not take responsibility for
motherhood. All play a part in the involvement of the particular Spirit
which has taken that pregnancy for the purpose of providing a vehicle
for it to experience through.
Due to its connection with its mother, and her link to the
outside world, the developing child can be subjected to negativity
through such acts and therefore develop a pre-birth awareness that
will exist into the born child, sometimes gaining positivity, sometimes
remaining in a state of negativity. It is important to note that even
whilst in the womb, the Spirit may have undergone experiences that
could not be gained in any other way or time.
Throughout the gestation period the Spirit, in its selected
developing body, runs the risk of the effects of the mother exercising
her free will in a manner that may be detrimental to the health of the
developing child as it nears birth. We know the physical effects of
smoking on the unborn child. Where choice is left to others, our
physical bodies are in a vulnerable position, but no more so than
during this period. If we have a mother with a clear understanding of
the processes, both physical and spiritual, that are involved there
should be no difficulties. That is not to say that there won’t be births
where the child is born apparently “defective” through no fault of the
mother. This is because of the requirements of the child’s Spirit. It is
important in the light of this information that people do not pass
judgement on a woman who has a child not considered ‘perfect’ by
the society it is born into.
This judgement is in itself a sickness not necessarily
recognised by the medical profession. It is necessary to understand
