Group Healing.

It is a fairly common practice, group healing. Group healing is
a vulnerable, risky situation to place anybody in who is already
expressing their weaknesses by being ill. To the observer these can be
spectacular occasions, to the ego or ignorant healer very
demonstrative occasions.

What a spectacle, demonstrating what? Because of the lack of
understanding of those people attending these gatherings for the
purpose of getting healed, they are indeed very vulnerable to the
energies that exist in these places. Though the healing group might be
in a hallowed or apparently hallowed place this does not necessarily
protect the weak. You will often see violent reaction to the healing
"power". This violent reaction, some claim they have been "smitten by
the spirit", is often as a result of the heightened hysteria of those
taking part. Music, prayer, ritual are generally the formula used in
such occasions. These aids combined with the openness of one who is
in a state of extreme hope, provides an ideal basis for hysteria to
manifest and for negative energies to co-exist with the positive
energies. How can God be present at such occasions. God emanates
peace, love, harmony. On those occasions there is very little of these
qualities manifesting.
There are other styles of group healing that are more low key
affairs where the concentration is on the "energies". By now you will
understand the different "energies" that can be employed in healing
and how there is a tendency for "energies" to balance within a group.
In this instance there will be those who will loose energy to another,
(one being in a state of compassion towards the misfortunes of others
and the other being indifferent to the needs of others but concentrating
on their own selfishness), and consequently there will be those who
