come for this person to move to other experiences that could not be
had under the present circumstances of a sore toe. The Spirit of the
ailing body calls for help in getting the incapacity removed and Spirit
hears. In answer to these prayers, the physical being with the sore toe
gets direction, in some way, to a place where healing can be received,
and healing, Spiritual Healing takes place. This format can be turned
into the many scenarios that occur for the many individuals that
encounter Spiritual Healing. Again this stresses the fact that behind
every illness there is a cause that may or may not readily be shown by
the symptoms.
The recipient of Spiritual Healing is best advised that it is
only necessary that they rest, relax, and let the healing take place.
Spiritual Healing is supposed to be a pleasant experience, to be
enjoyed by all concerned but primarily to be enjoyed by the patient.
Their Spirit will decide what it needs and The Spirit will decide how
best to meet those needs. The recipients free will must be recognised
and respected. The healer must not force their opinions on the one to
be healed. So this is the situation, for the Spiritual Healer to await the
approach of one seeking to be healed, and for the one seeking to be
healed to ask for that healing.
The attitude of the healer to the recipient should remain one of
compassionate detachment. This sounds a strange term but you will
remember that in the first place, the need for detachment was stressed
and yet again there cannot be a facility for healing without a fair
degree of compassion. A healer who seeks to channel the love and
healing energy from the Divine realms cannot be a person devoid of
feeling, devoid of love, therefore a Spiritual Healer is an extension of
the healers own Spirit, is one, who through the enhancement of their
own Spirituality has come to an understanding of their Spiritual
vocation, in this the physical world.
