Page 136 - Spirit - A Journey Through Embodiment
P. 136

We have good reason to challenge you in this way, The
complacency that has become inbred in humankind needs to
be removed and this can only happen through awareness.
Awareness can only be gained through analysis of moment to
moment from your Spirit’s perspective, and never from your
ego’s point of view. The ego will always justify it’s actions
and therefore cannot be trusted. Ego will be biased whereas
Spirit will be fair. We have said earlier that everything
happens for a God reason and for the Spirit, how then can we
               expect our ego to understand.

The youth’s Spirit has been almost totally suppressed, but
note almost. It is with a heavy heart that they venture into this
next period of life, not knowing why they feel as if they are
incomplete. The aftermath of what was to be their initiation,
in whatever form it took and if it wasn't spiritual, is a feeling
of disillusionment and despair. They have been launched into
their next phase at the mercy of what society has in store for
them. Like the shipwrecked sailor they will cling to the
nearest hope for survival. Their ego’s also will be demanding
performance from them, calling for them to take their place in
the world they have been born into, a world hostile to true
spirituality and mostly subjected to some religion or other, or
to some political persuasion with all its controls. God gave us
all free will but society, in it’s many forms, denies us the use
of that will as it sees fit in order to sustain itself. The 15 year
old is very vulnerable as it has not been handed back its
power, and is therefore totally dependent on exterior
“supporters” or systems. Dependency is induced by promises,
