what we are being shown as being the wrong way. There is a
saying, “things only need to get as bad as they need to get”,
referring of course to us becoming aware that we need to
change to the correct direction. In order to have the
consciousness that will help us to, firstly, become aware of the
law in action, and, secondly, to realise the message the law is
giving us, we need to have spiritual awareness. Have you ever
noticed how people in a moment of severe life crises turn to
God for help? You may also see people in a moment of severe
crises turn away from God, but that God they turn from is the
God of religion, to the spiritually unaware the only God they
know. The God the spiritually aware turn to is so personal that
there is never ignorance involved, nor ego. Ego awareness
prevents us from practicing unconditional love, though it does
not prevent us from experiencing it. In order to experience
Divine Love we need to have sufficient spiritual awareness in
order to create the opportunity. Responsibility, we need to be
responsible for the outcome of every entreaty we make for
Divine intervention in our troubles, in order to make a
responsible request of God, even if the outcome does not suit
our ego. Seeing that it was usually our ego that got us into the
impossible situation, it will usually be the case that any
correction given to the difficulty will prove difficult for the
ego to accept.

Encompassed in the ego are many memories of past events.
Should we not have processed these events properly, taking
the Law of Cause and Effect into account, there is every
chance that we have not realised the benefits many of these
experiences could provide us with. These events will remain
within us and remain as a negative memory ready to manifest
