this lifetime and this body.

The initiated child should be encouraged to test out self
responsibility. Life will provide the examples it will need to
study. It will need to be able to analyse the physical
consequences of it's actions, but most importantly to fully
understand and accept the spiritual importance of the
experience, whether it feels it was good but especially if it
feels it was bad. Everything has a God reason attached to it, a
spiritual reason. When we do an analysis of our life we will
see that, when we view it from a spiritual perspective, there is
never any bad, only our ego gets bruised.

This is also the time when the child finds gender separation,
by this we mean that the male child becomes more integrated
with his maleness and the female child likewise with her
femaleness. We hesitate in using the word femininity as that
word has lost its true meaning in present western society. It is
also at this stage where sexuality can become confused. The
natural male and female roles have become so enmeshed with
each other that no clear definition for these roles can exist.
Society, for fear of impropriety, cannot define these roles
either. The natural hunger for procreation is found to
preoccupy the minds of the teenager. If there has not been a
proper initiation then the child will not have regained it’s
power from it’s parents. It will not have the ability to cope
with it’s surroundings as it does not know it’s role in life, it’s
power to cope with life, nor possibly who they are. In other
