explain how this is never the case, except where a spiritually
aware adult provides the channel for God to work through.
God cannot work through an ego, this is because the ego is
developed through choices made. That these choices might
have been overshadowed by the influence of other egos,
nonetheless the individual who makes the choices has to take
the responsibility for making them. There is a saying,
"ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law". It could be said
in the situation our young initiate finds themselves in, though
they are ego conscious, had they not had strong spiritual
support in their upbringing they are ignorant of the simple
laws that truly govern their existence and in transgressing
these laws will receive the effect of their ill informed choices.
Society will always teach them to be angry at "bad" outcomes
of poor choices, sometimes dismissed as "bad luck", or some
fault outside of their own control, in other words they are
thought to make excuses for making bad choices. Where there
is an excuse there is no learning. People talk of a run of bad
luck, it will only end when the choices made are appropriate,
and one has learnt the lesson needed. There is no such thing as
bad luck only inappropriate choices. Yes, we will continually
make choices for ourselves, it is the phase of life the fourteen
year old finds themselves in, and this is why they need the
correct, and informed support of those around them.
Unfortunately it is difficult in present day society for them to
find this. It really is important that all who are in the family
circle and family friends are there to provide the guidance and
strength for the growing child and their Spirit. God is always
there for every child, represented by the environment that has
been created by this child's entry into this world. How many
