corrupted, through it's ego, and might therefore have to go
through serious decontamination before it is allowed
               anywhere near the Spirit realms.

If you could imagine that the fourteen year old with it's
socially and religiously developed ego, and it's suppressed and
unconscious spirituality, has this conflict going on within
itself. The initiation of this child should disperse much of this
confusion but instead, since it is rarely a spiritual ceremony,
pushes the child further into the world of the ego and a world
that is measured by being of age to undertake various human
social practices that it was forbidden to be part of up to then.

This year, the fourteenth year is perhaps the most important
year as everything in the child's adult future will use this point
as the basis for future decisions and actions. In the
development of the human mind nothing changes instantly or
even over night, that's why it is called development,
everything gradually changes and the change is based on what
has preceded the change. The body is merely a carrier of a
Spirit and is governed by the same law as Spirit, the law of
cause and Effect. All our daily actions, and consequences of
these actions, come under this law. It so simple, as simple as
sticking your finger into a flame and as a consequence getting
it burnt. In this example you learn the nature of fire, it burns.
You also discover what you needed to know about fire and
not to put your finger in the flame again. So too with life
experiences, we continuously learn so many lessons from
each event not only about ourselves but also about all that
surrounds us and how we can safely interact in an enjoyable
