words they are lost and confused. This uninitiated or
incorrectly initiated child will present as a troubled, and often
troublesome, teenager. This child will often present as
overweight, promiscuous, aggressive or the opposite to this
with eating disorders, reclusive, and timid. It is said that the
child will seek it’s power through such pursuits as sex, drugs
(including alcohol and tobacco), and “rock ‘n roll”. Each of
these can provide the child with a sense of belonging, not
necessarily to the family unit but with the mass of other teens
who have not experienced proper initiation. Had these
children been re-introduced to their spiritual nature and learnt
from the adults to identify with that nature, none of these
other pursuits would have had the attraction and control over
them. But then neither would their parents or society have had
that control either. These uninitiated children often rebel and
seek to take control of their lives but their rebellion is seen as
anti-social behaviour instead of a call for help. They are seen
by society as being out of control and persecuted by the social
structures that are in place to suppress such conduct. This
situation doesn’t exist in what might be called more primitive
societies, or what could be called indigenous societies, where
initiation rites are properly performed.
The only targets for the developing youth now are those set by
the society it belongs to, and little or no attention given to the
spiritual goals that the incumbent Spirit might have set for
itself during this incarnation. This time, initiation time, is set
within God’s time scale and has been predetermined by the
choice made by the youth’s Spirit before choosing this body
