what paradise is before we can seek to find it again. We hope
the words we have given to you will invoke the thinking that
will open your mind to share who you currently are and
enable you to change you attitude from an acceptance of the
restrictions in your life to an acceptance of freedom, free from
the bonds of humankind. In the fables and myths of your
culture and other cultures lies the wisdom. Unfortunately this
wisdom has been lost through the inability of humankind to
understand the symbolism these myths contain. In recounting
them to the children you can now only offer them an ‘old
story’ and not help them to understand the true meaning. In
much the same way you cannot interpret the events in your
own life and in your dreams, and gain the wisdom from them.
In light of what we are saying this day, look to the story of
Icarus and his quest to be as free as a bird, to soar into the sky
free of the bounds of the earth. His quest to get closer to God
and how he discovered that it was not possible to absorb the
full energy of the Divine while still incarnate and he crashed
back down to earth. So too, you need realise that you too are
incarnate and though you might have lofty aspiration of
raising your consciousness to higher thinking, you can only
do so by keeping your feet firmly on the ground. Yes we
recognise that this suggests there are limitations, but these are
as have been set by Creation and not the limitations imposed
by humankind. You can still get close enough to God, but
without ‘ruffling your feathers’.

or a young adult? If you think them a teenager, do you still
