can be seen by the many casualties, mostly innocents. War is
only ever in the interest of profit, a profit enjoyed by the few
and by the cowards who see the lives of the young under its
dependency as expendable, and any adverse effect on the
world’s non-military population as collateral damage. Peace is
never achieved by war. Lasting peace cannot be experienced
until the truth of war is known and repudiated. So this then is
the task of those who purport to parent or care for the young
adults of today. Firstly they need to look to their own
spirituality and to examine their own motivations. They need
to honestly examine their attitude to their way of living. They
need to face their mortality and immorality, and to see where
their fears lie. They need to recognise the negativity that
exists within their attitude towards their fellow beings. They
need to ask themselves the question, “Have I yet learned to
know and to see God?” The consoling thought is that there is
still time to achieve your goals and still time to rescue your
young from the clutches of materialism and its offshoots.
There is still time to circumvent another war, but only your
actions and the actions of your fellows can bring about this
major change. It’s up to you.
The task adult readers of these words face and having read all
the words from this series of writings, “The Journey Through
Embodiment”, is similar to the task confronting the young
adult. The age of fifteen is the transition period, a period
between initiation and the start of the next stage of their
journey through life. As we have so often pointed out there is
a difficulty that has been introduced into their lives, a
