Assuming that you have taken cognisance of our words and
that you are now looking to the future welfare of your youth,
and including the encouragement of a greater awareness of the
spiritual nature of their journey, the future for them looks far
brighter. No longer will their development be solely based on
your advice and the advice of others but will include a better
informed opinion of their own. They will decide what they
feel is best for them and will have your respect for that
decision, giving them the right to choose and the right to
accept responsibility for their choices without any “I told you
so”. Yet you still carry a fear? What exactly is your fear
around this scenario? Do you not trust them to make choices
for themselves? By your not having the necessary trust in their
judgement only shows the lack of trust you have in yourself
and the lack of confidence you have in how you reared this
child. The fear is all to do with you. There is only one way to
find out and that is to let what needs to happen happen and
then to review the results. Though you might step back and
allow your child this freedom you do not do so without
maintaining your support of them. Always wish them well,
entrusting their care to God and those who assist God in this
task. Should you have acquainted your child with the ever
presence of Spirit in their lives they will themselves invoke
our assistance in guiding them along their path. Should you
have informed them of the Law of Cause and Effect they will
be able to continuously monitor their own progress as they
take their personal journey through earth life. They will
become response-abled. The sixteen year old will survey their
options for their future. It is at this time that they will look at
