P. 83

Children are as important, if not more important than, adults
in both the physical and in the spiritual process. They
represent both the past and the future physically and
spiritually. In the physical worlds they are the representation
of how successful or unsuccessful the physical evolutionary
process has been. We can see that the children entering the
world to day are well equipped to handle the world that has
been created for them, and in a position to bring it forward
continuously evolving into the future. Unfortunately adults do
not seem to have the same capacity. There is a reason for this
lack of capacity in the adult, adults are children who have
been adulterated. The educational systems in western society,
and in many other societies fail to educate. They are designed
to train children to be conforming performing soldiers
supporting a system that expects everyone who seeks to be a
member of the social system to live religiously by its dictates.
These social systems also use religion as an enforcer of its
ideology. Fortunately things are changing but only very
slowly as those in power are very slow to release the grip they
have on the populace. Children are rebelling. We see an
increase in what society aptly calls anti-social behaviour,
where young people are considered to be "out of control".
And so they are, they have taken back their power but the
"educational" system and the parental guidance has failed
them by not teaching them that they have such power and how
to utilise it. We do not entrust an inexperienced person with a
lethal weapon without first educating them to the rudiments of
its use. Our two year old is progressing to the point where it
will begin to take risks but only because we have not
introduced them to the way of foreseeing consequence for
their actions. We tend to tell our children, "don't do that"
