Page 88 - Spirit - A Journey Through Embodiment
P. 88
The three year old child in today's society becomes more
compliant, or in some cases more disobedient. This
disobedience is what it looks like to those who seek
obedience. Another way to look at this is to consider the
disobedience as a rebellion against the social system that
looks to make a two tier society with masters, employers,
governors on one tier and servants, slaves, workers on the
other tier. This is how society has been developed, this is the
system society has developed. This is the society many
children are now rebelling against. The career choices offered
to the young are basically to be a master, a servant, or a
system enforcer (army or police or religion). What dictates
which choice to make is the price the system sets for these
positions, choices are made according to affordability and
seldom on ability. The three year old is not aware of this but
its parents are. Seldom is a child given the choice of what they
would like to be when they are in their adult years. It is
interesting to ask a three year old what would they like to be,
and to ask again later on in their life, and ask again later
again. You will see how social influence changes their
choices. Next ask an elder to look back and to review the
choices they made and how they feel now about those choices
and why they thought they made them. You will find the
answers in each case interesting to compare. Now do the same
to yourself, ask yourself those questions. If you write your
answers it will make them easier to review.
Every child entering this world of matter does so with a
vocation. They come with particular purpose and the ability to
