Year 6 (U11) Football
This club is run with the intention of providing a learning process as a fun after-school club for boys who want to play football. It also provides a chance for boys who are representing the school at football to develop skills and team principles. It provides them with the chance to train and work together to improve the side. Focused workshops build on areas of strength or develop new skills, and this then feeds into competitive match/team-based games to test these new skills. Golf
This club is ongoing throughout the entire academic year and is run by highly qualified PGA coaches who have many years of national team coaching experience as well as club coaching to draw upon. The sessions will cover every aspect of the game and will take advantage of all the excellent facilities provided by Stratford Oaks. The boys will receive video analysis of their swings on the undercover driving range. They will also hone their short game skills on the purpose- built short game area. The aim of the club is not only to improve each boy’s golf skills, golf etiquette and understanding of the game, but to give them the opportunity to learn a skill for life. Throughout the Summer term all the boys taking part will be considered for team matches, IAPS teams and have many opportunities to compete out on a golf course.
