Obviously that"s not a true story, it"s a parable to illustrate a spiritual lesson about your unique ability. Think of it as your edge—a line you must cross to feel alive. Your personal “thing” is a line that separates the ordinary from the extraordinary, the mediocre from the exceptional in your life. Your competitive “thing” is a line that separates you from your competition. It's what sets you apart and makes you unique.
Finding your Statement of Fortune is a process of self- discovery; of interrogating your subconscious mind to discover what was written on your imaginary piece of paper a few moments before you were born.
Who Are You?
When someone asks you to describe yourself, what do you say? Most people are incapable of answering this question accurately. And who can blame them? They"ve been defined by other people since the day they were born. !You"re so clever.” “You"re shy.” “Why are you so clumsy?” Doing your thing built on other people"s definitions of you is doomed to failure.
Ask someone to give you seven words to describe themselves and you"ll soon discover they can"t, not accurately. For example, they might say they are !caring”,
