Water Volleyball
The Water Volleyball club members are looking forward to the pool
reopening mid-April. We play Tuesdays and Thursdays @11:30am in
the ‘West end’ of the pool. All residents are welcome, and no experience
or special skill is needed. Water shoes and a hat are recommended. If
you’d like to learn more about our club, feel free to visit our ‘homepage’
on the Club’s website (Groups, then Water Volleyball), or send an email
to Dan Ketchum at djketchum@gmail.com
Wii Bowling
The Wii Bowling Group meets on the 2nd Tuesday evening of each
month from 6pm – 9pm. We have a lively, fun competition to see which
randomly chosen team can score the highest average after playing a set
of 3 games to win the night's prize. We always look forward to
welcoming new members into our group and hope they will enjoy
playing the game and socializing with their friends and neighbors. If any
residents have an interest in joining our group, please email your hosts,
Barry and Diana Gray, at: bdgray19@yahoo.com.
Our next game night is Tuesday, March 11th. Dues of $5 per person, per
game night are collected the night of the event and prizes of $25 gift
cards to various local restaurants are awarded to each member of the
highest scoring team. Please watch for your opportunity to RSVP for
March, starting on Tuesday, February 25th at approximately 6
pm. Reservations are required in order to play. Won’t you join us?
Wine Appreciation (WAG)
Everyone loves love and we had a lot of it flowing at the February “Love
Potion #wine” event. The featured winery, Fults Family Vineyards,
from Lower Lake, poured their great wines, including the beautiful
Sparkling Rose Brut, which was perfect this time of year. Kendall Fults
had a surprise for our guests and treated us to an additional pouring of
their Cabernet Sauvignon, which was offered at a 50% discount!
We will be “Going Green” in March, with our hosts, Carol Long and
Bob Scheetz. The featured winery will be Casque Winery, a first time
for them coming to a WAG event. Carol and Bob are wine club
members and our caterer, Matt, is friends with the owner, so they can
vouch for the super wines produced. Please look for Sign Up Genius if
you want to come to this event.
If you are not a member of WAG, but wish to join, please contact
Bonnie Pavri at (707)228-6255 or via email at Lfun2th@gmail.com.
