Happy New Year! This time of year is always great for renewing (or identifying – in my case) resolutions. I
resolve to eat better. I resolve to read more. Quite frankly, I resolve to identify some goals for 2024. Why not
resolve to stop by the Retreat Library discover or explore different authors without having to go very far. Stay
cozy this winter with a thriller or fun mystery. There are many great reads within the shelves of our community
library. The volunteers add new titles each month and withdraw titles that are collecting dust. Our community
is very active with checking out books and this brings joy to those who manage this space.
Roseville Public Library is located about three miles east on Pleasant Grove. It is open six days a week, closed only on Sunday. So if you are
not finding a title that tickles you in our community library, step into the two story building at 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd. The Riley Library
has dozens of new books on their shelves. New library cards are free. Bring a photo ID and have the friendly staff share all of the new re-
sources added this year.
These titles are on order and will arrive soon.
A Crust to Die For by T. C. LoTempio. Southern Style’s food critic and blogger Tiffany Austin investigates a murder at the Bon-
Appetempting Pizza Bake-Off in her hometown of Branson, Georgia. It is an appetizing culinary cozy read for fans of Lucy Burdette and Jenn
McKinlay. Lovers of smart savvy female sleuths, twisty mysteries, and mouth-watering food shouldn’t miss it!
Death by Demo by Callie Carpenter. This mystery is perfect for fans of Kate Carlisle and Diane Kelly. Jaime begins to renovate her worn-
down home after getting divorced … and finds a body in a wall.
