NEW SPEAKER SERIES STARTING OCTOBER 2023
IN CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL CYBER SECURITY AWARENESS MONTH, a new Speaker Series is officially

launching OCTOBER 17 with two presentations by the Roseville Police Department. From the Cyber Crimes Unit Lt.
Jeff Kool and Detective Chris Uribe, will talk about CYBER TECHNOLOGY SCAMS TARGETING SENIORS.
Our second presentation is HAVE YOU BEEN A VICTIM OF SWATTING? by Lt. Chris Ciampa, Public Information Of-
ficer.
The idea behind the speaker series is to continue Neighborhood Watch presentations under a new title. Mia Winter, former Neighbor-
hood Watch Director, The Club, and retired Information Security Awareness Program Manager, Cisco Systems, is the moderator.
Subject Matter Experts from variety of organizations including city, county, private industry and non-profit organizations will be tapped to
speak. All presentations will be held three times per year. Seating is limited to 85.
In 2024, we will continue the series with three presentations every four months.
Some of the topics may include but not limited to: Homelessness in Placer County; Human Trafficking; Artificial Intelligence.
