Eventually, Captain Thomas, Al, Bernard, and
Hugh went back to their temporary living cabin. Al was
the last to go back and as a result, was the one without a
bed. “Fine, I don’ need a bed anyway.” Said Al. As the
other three drifted off into a tough, but deep sleep, Al
went in search of whiskey. He walked into a cabin and
noticed the guns and gunpowder. Figuring that was not
where they stored their whiskey, Al kept searching.
After rousing some angry colonists, nearly
setting the entire colony ablaze, and almost accidentally
shooting himself, Al finally found the whisky. He
celebrated in triumph. However, the whiskey was in
barrels. Al’s short-lived triumph turned into his
miserable attempts to push a quite large barrel of
whiskey back to their cabin.
