The Fitness Center Proposal
In order to increase the size and functionality of our kitchen and provide our Membership
with different dining options, the Fitness Center must move. The Long-Range Planning
Committee, with the assistance of the Professionals hired by the Association, explored all
alternatives for expanding the kitchen. The only viable alternative is to expand the kitchen
into the current Administrative space and relocate the Fitness Center above the cart barn.
The ancillary benefit of this move is to provide a Fitness Center with a beautiful new patio
overlooking our gorgeous golf course giving Members another outdoor gathering space
and snack area. Having additional square footage in the Fitness Center will allow for
exciting new fitness options for our Membership; options that they may go outside the
club and pay for currently. There will be enough room to have Spin equipment and
classes, Pilates equipment and classes, CrossFit to name a few. There will also be a Golf
Simulator. The spa services will be in the new Fitness Center ensuring an overall wellness
approach by our fitness staff. Bocaire’s massage area can have a much more spa-like feel
as well as a more flexible and inclusive services menu.
The Cart Barn Proposal
A more esthetically pleasing building will be built with the ability to hold 51 carts. This will
give us enough carts to service our Membership. Currently during peak times, Members
and guests must wait for carts to become available. Additionally, an overhang from the
second floor will provide more covered space to stage golf carts and to help during
inclement weather.
The Golf Course Maintenance Buildings Proposal
Essential is the replacement of our decrepit maintenance buildings. A 9,000 square foot
maintenance building for chemical storage, sand & mulch storage, vehicle repair center,
offices, bathrooms, break/lunch area, locker room and storage for items currently stored
offsite for a fee.
The Course Restrooms
The Course Restrooms are going to be refreshed and updated.
