Fuel retailers ponder future amidst

      global and local challenges




        he  Fuel Retailers Association (FRA)  hosted its fourth conference
     Tsince 2015  on 8 and 9 June 2022  in Johannesburg. Fuel
     retailers, government officials, and other key stakeholders
     gathered to discuss challenges in the fuel retail industry, and ways
     to resolve these challenges to chart into the future. The two-day
     conference was held under the theme "Unity in Action - building
     new capabilities".

                                                              W&RSETA  CEO, Tom  Mkhwanazi spoke on  the  role of skills
                                                              development to grow the fuel retail sector through various skills
                                                              development programmes of  the SETA through  the FRA  and
                                                              directly to fuel retailers.

     Delivering his opening remarks, FRA President Mike Motsoane
     indicated that the conference aims to bring together stakeholders
     to engage on how the industry can build new capabilities in
     collaboration  with key role  players including oil  companies,
     suppliers, and other third-party service providers. He also thanked
     the sponsors and said "I can say there is no better partnership and
     thank you for your valuable contribution to all our conferences
     since 2015."
