     The Premier of Limpopo, Stanley Mathabatha was  accompanied
     by the Education MEC, Polly Boshielo.
     Addressing the guests, Premier Mathabatha said, “We are excited
     that this project is taking place in our province. This will continue
     to boost the economy of Limpopo and we are certain our young
     people will be skilled and prepared for the workplace.”
     He described the event as planting a seed that must be watered in
     order to develop youth with relevant skills for different fields.

                                                              The Chief Executive Officer  of the W&RSETA, Tom Mkhwanazi
                                                              thanked  the  guests for supporting the  W&RSETA  as it breaks
                                                              new ground in skills development. He made a call of action for
                                                              collaboration and partnerships to continue beyond the event and
                                                              urged all stakeholders to work together to address inequality,

               the guests                                     unemployment and poverty which continue to be the main
                                                              challenges facing rural communities.





     Chairperson of the W&RSETA Board, Reggie Sibiya provided an
     overview of the W&RSETA’s vision for the TVET sector including
     this new project. He said despite financial constraints due to
     COVID-19, the W&RSETA Managed to prioritise this project due
     to its significant impact towards uplifting the community. “We are
     building a centre that you will be proud of. Your children will be
     skilled here to become employable and create their own jobs,”
     he said. Sibiya added that the focus is on the retail value chain
     where agricultural and livestock produce from the centre will
     be processed for the retail market that will be possible through   Executive Mayor of
