                                                                               are steady and even fewer people that they

                                                                                 Human-trafficking victims are all-to-often
                                                                               overlooked or labeled as criminals. We have
                                                                               made great strides in Ohio by passing laws to
                                                                               protect these individuals, but we still have a
                                                                               long way to go. Our Clinic is doing its part
                                                                               to make a difference.
                                                                                 The Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking
                                                                               Law Clinic will be hosting its First Annual
                                                                               Human Trafficking Symposium on Friday,
                                                                               April 12, 2019, at the CMBA Conference
                                                                               Center. Our featured speakers include
                                                                               Senator Teresa Fedor, who drafted much of
                                                                               Ohio’s key human-trafficking legislation and
                                                                               United States Attorney Carol Skutnik, who
                                                                               handled many important human-trafficking
