Page 4 - TRANSFORMATION
P. 4

As a new Christian, it is imperative that you continue in fellowship (new
Christian relationships) and develop relationships with mature believers
who can help you grow. Our best example of course is Jesus. We know
that He was fully God, but He was also fully man. That made Him the
perfect sacrifice and the perfect example. Luke 2:52 says: And Jesus grew
in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

PHASE 3: Pupa (Chrysalis)
Inside the chrysalis tucked away, the larva is going through it's most radical
change. The change will be quite evident in the next stage. Your growth
should be evident to those around you. Especially those who have known
you outside of the church family. While you are tucked away in the spiritual
"chrysalis", your relationship with God and the work of God in your heart
should be causing you to take shape. (Read Colossians 3:9-10, Galatians
5:16-18, 1 John 1:6-7.

PHASE 4 : THE BUTTERFLY
The butterfly emerges. Shut away and separated. The process reveals a
changed life. Some of the "growth" you will seek will happen because you
removed yourself from the hindrances of your transformation. There are
many things you will learn that will help you along the road to spiritual
maturity.
