Galatians 5:24 Among those who belong to Christ, everything
connected with getting our own way and mindlessly
responding to what everyone else calls necessities is killed
off for goo--crucified.

PASSION OR PURPOSE?

From the heart of God, He sends a reminder that we were not created because
He was having a moment of passion, but we were created because He had
purpose on His mind. How often has the enemy told us that what we aren’t
relevant and that God can use someone else? Yet, Jesus loved us so much, he
was willing to invest his own blood! The very opposite of what the world promotes.
It’s all about self. In fact, a simple search would lead you to hundreds of articles on
“Reawakening YOUR Passion”. There is nothing like sowing into yourself. It can
only lead to emptiness. Galatians 5:24 reminds us to crucify passion, and to walk
not after passion which is temporal, but the fruit of the spirit, the eternal. So let us
be lead on today, not by emotion, but by our God given purpose.
