HOT NOW!
BY PASTOR MIKE
As a college student, the bright red doughnut sign was a welcomed attraction,
especially after a long late night of studying. Once you saw the sign, there was
never a question as to what brand was attached to that sign. You just knew. The
sign wouldn't stay on all night, eventually the sign would be turned off until the
next batch of "hot" donuts were available.
As believers, we must be careful that the sign we are flashing clearly represents
the brand (The Kingdom) we say we represent. Our life should clearly represent
the light of God and not the darkness of the world. It should represent the joy
that comes from knowing the risen Savior, without the need to add and mix the
world's antidotes because of a life in turmoil. There should never be a moment
when the sign goes out in the life of the believer. Who we are and what we are
is 24/7 and 365 days a year.
