Introducing the new FAS:
Federal Advisory Services!
As of January 1, FAS is now Federal Advisory Services! MIL continues to grow its service
offerings to federal clients by establishing the new Advisory sector. MIL’s Advisory sector
provides consulting services, user support, strategic planning, process improvement, and
quality assurance across an array of federal civilian clients. FAS’ expert services to clients is
driven by long-time MIL leaders including Sonya Holland at FAA, Karen McGee at NRC, Glen
Schneider at FBI, Jeff Suhanick at NIST, and Bonita Jones and Sandra Lee at GSA Pegasys.
Led by VP Bruce Corfield, the Advisory sector will build on MIL’s in-depth
understanding of finance and technology, sharing resources across the firm to
drive service innovation and new business. According to Bruce, “Our Advisory
leaders and staff bring unparalleled expertise in their fields and strong client
relationships. This is an opportunity to bring the best of MIL to federal clients.”
Headquartered in MIL’s office in Rosslyn, VA, Advisory sector leaders are already sharing best
practices with other sectors, growing at current clients, and closely collaborating on business
development.
Thanks and credit to Butch Long, Cindy Long, and Marisa Daley for their support and
leadership, and to MIL Finance, HR, and Contracts for their diligence behind the scenes in
making this happen.
A day on the greens
Members of MIL’s REPS Sector took to the links on October
28th to discover who among them would reign supreme on
the green. Eight members of the team teed off on the MIL
squad as they participated in the event sponsored by MIL
customers at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division
(NAWCAD) Webster Outer Lying Field (WOLF) Ship and Air
Integrated Warfare (SAIW) Division.
