The Washington Post names MIL a 2021 Top Workplace the D.C. area
MIL is pleased to announce its recognition as a Top Workplace by The Washington Post for the
Washington, D.C. area. Receiving the 2021 honor marks the fifth year in-a-row, ranking 10th for
large businesses. We also received the Top Workplace honor nationally (USA) and for the state of
South Carolina this calendar year.
The Washington Post has been awarding local organizations for eight years now, aiming to recognize
companies that cultivate support, respect, and employee satisfaction. The list is comprised of 200 of
the highest ranked companies, which came from a pool of 413 surveyed.
“In a year that provided many opportunities for internal, corporate growth amidst a global health
crisis, it is comforting to know we offered our team a place of great stability,” said Marisa Daley,
COO. “MIL is very proud to have evolved with the times as an organization. We are continuing
to discover and implement new ways to offer our employees flexibility and work-life balance as we
move forward, learn, and adapt to a hybrid mindset.”
Selection is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party
survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, which measured several aspects of
workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection so we thank you again for your
participation.

contract wins
FAA FBSS contract
It’s official! The FAA has awarded the Financial and Business Systems Support (FBSS) contract. Through
the new FBSS contract, MIL will support the prime small contractor in helping the FAA integrate
requirements gathering, piloting, prototyping, testing, and end-user support for its financial systems.
This latest award will also enable MIL to continue providing FAA with world-class financial services
support and build on our record of outstanding customer support. We know, without a doubt, that our
team’s exceptional work delivery was a major contributing factor for this win.Group.
Through this contract, MIL will not only expand its footprint supporting the NAWCAD WOLF
organization, but enrich its portfolio of corporate experience with future projects supporting GRFIN
services and solutions with military and commercial intelligence network technologies; encryption and
IT security; multimedia systems; hi fidelity radio and short-haul tactical communications; electrical
power generation and distribution technology; and broadcast engineering, among other C5ISR areas
of specialization.
Continued success at NAVAIR
Two new NAVAIR awards provide MIL with another opportunity to support the Naval Air Warfare
Center Aircraft Division in its ongoing mission to support the warfighter.
MIL is pleased to announce the award of the College of Test and Evaluation (CT&E) contract to Team
Avian. As a member of the team, MIL will help the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) University
and CT&E in their continued operations in T&E planning and management, test execution, test
reporting, technical discipline T&E, land and sea range system management, threat and target systems
development, air vehicle and weapons instrumentation, battlespace modeling and simulation, product
experimentation, and developmental and operational testing. As a member of Team Avian, MIL will
assist NAVAIR to develop, sustain, and analyze training plans, business plans, training guides, course
catalog, curriculum, reference materials, and supporting documentation and instruction.
Also, we are excited that MIL is on not one, but two winning teams for NAVAIR NAWC AD’s Audio
Visual (AV) Multiple Award Contract (MAC)! We anticipate task orders where we will provide
engineering and integration services to the IC2&I Division to perform tasks in support of assigned
AV MAC projects including: requirements definition; solution definition; integration, installation
verification, and validation; and operation and sustainment.
