The new REPS integration space in action
REPS’ new building is already being put to great use by supporting the Ship and Air Integrated
Warfare Division of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and the Unmanned Carrier
Aviation (UCA) program office of the Naval Air Systems Command. The building’s sizable garage
doors, spacious floor plan, and lofty ceilings provide a secured, climate-controlled space for the UCA
Mission Control System (UMCS) Shore Installation Integrated Product Team’s Test Transportable
(TT) trailer.
The TT UMCS are trailer-mounted mobile ground control systems that are designed to support
MQ-25A Stingray aircraft ground and flight tests in locations where fixed control sites cannot reach.
The TT trailers support air vehicle operators and include all of the equipment necessary to control
the aircraft. They also offer special provisions to allow test engineers and conductors to monitor all
parameters of ground station operation during the test events. In addition to providing this space
for the trailers, MIL is delivering engineering changes and modification/installation services for the
trailer’s antennas, cabling, lightning protection, and other external and internal trailer components.
Once complete, the trailers will leave the facility to support ground and flight test events in various
locations throughout the Nation.
