lunch cruise

The HDI Capital Area Team Building Lunch Cruise served
as a fun and rewarding event for MIL's Library of Congress
managers and team members in attendance. The lunch
cruise was luxurious with an amazing variety food and
entertainment. Best of all, the get-together served as a great
time for the team to interact and bond with their co-workers in
a casual setting.

The ABCs of Augusta – awards, baseball, and camaraderie

I recently went down to Augusta, GA (July 2024) to visit the MIL Team supporting ARCYBER Command at Ft. Eisenhower. I
was able to award the prestigious REPS Awesome Employee of the Moment Award to Eric Carpenter and John Cabral.
In his role as Deputy Project Manager, Eric Carpenter stepped up and successfully provided positive outcomes for many
challenges that arose while the Senior Project Manager, Andrew Baker, was out on much needed PTO.

John Cabral identified several logistics
shortfalls that negatively impacted our
MIL team, our partners, and ultimately
the sponsor. He then took the initiative
to provide the logistics and technical
support necessary to overcome a significant
warehousing issue.
I also got a chance to spend time out to
dinner with the MIL team and enjoy an
Augusta Green Jackets baseball game that
same evening. It was great to recognize
some Awesome Employees and spend some
time with our MIL team to get a hands-on
look at the impressive work they are doing.
What an amazing group of people – they
are a team that is truly embracing the “MIL
Way.” Much appreciation to each of you!
